CAR-POOLING
What is car-pooling and how is it a good thing?
As a member of courageous advocates, I have been focusing on helping the environment. I focused mainly on the topic of carpooling, which was sharing cars with other people, which prevents the need for others to drive themselves. It is an eco-friendly way of driving as sharing a journey reduces air pollution, and cars are one of the main reasons why London and other cities are heavily polluted. Carpooling is more important on long car journeys and for high fuel prices since cars produce more pollution on longer drives.
Carpooling links with other topics for the air ambassadors, because in central London, more people share jobs than other cities. This is vital in our group because carpooling is more convenient if people live closer to each other. We are a very big school, 240 children, and most of them live less than 5 miles, so it will be very easy to commute and get to and from school in a more eco-friendly way.
In conclusion, carpooling will be very important to ours and your school as to ensure traveling in an eco-friendly way.
